Moneyling NS-12: Spending Course

About the Course

Every student spends — but few understand why.
In Moneyling: Spending, students step into real-life financial situations through the eyes of Cari, Richie, Amelia, Beatriz, Mallory, and Marquis — six teens learning how to balance wants, needs, and values in a world full of choices and influence.

From comparing prices online to resisting social media ads and planning for emergencies, students learn to make informed, intentional spending decisions that reflect their goals — not their impulses.

This story-based, interactive course covers all Grade 12 National Standards for Personal Financial Education (NS-12) Spending objectives, helping students connect everyday experiences to essential financial literacy skills like budgeting, evaluating products, understanding advertising, and avoiding impulse spending.

Engaging, relatable, and standards-aligned, Moneyling: Spending transforms classroom lessons into practical life skills — empowering students to think critically about where their money goes and why it matters.

The information presented in this course is for educational purposes only and is not intended as financial, investment, or legal advice. Students should not interpret any examples or scenarios as recommendations to buy, sell, or hold specific securities or financial products. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Participants are encouraged to consult a qualified financial advisor or professional before making any personal investment decisions.
